About
Christoph fell in love with wine at the tender age of 25, when he started working the hospitality industry. His love for wine then defined his direction in life. After graduating from the Hotel Management School in Zurich, he worked in top restaurants, accompanied by courses at the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, and, the Wädenswil School of Viticulture. In 2005, he moved into the wine trade, where he was able to gain a great deal of experience as a manager in the fine wine sector. Christoph has a deep passion for artisanal and low intervention wines from traditional producers, and he is particularly fond of the French Burgundy region. Since 2019, he has been running the micro-vineyard project "die Geister, die ich rief " in the Zurich wine region. Christoph speaks German, English, French and after a few glasses of Sangiovese, a smattering of Italian. He lives with his wife and two children in Zurich.

David’s Passion for fine wine was first ignited in the mid 1990’s whilst living and working in France. David spent over 25 years as a senior financial professional in the energy industry, latterly the renewable energy industry where he oversaw operations of, as Chief Financial Officer, several multi $Billion international businesses. During this time, and on many travels both for business and pleasure, he built up a deeper appreciation for fine wine, and, became an avid collector of fine and rare wines. His specialty knowledge is focused on the wines of Bordeaux and those from California, USA. David speaks English, French and German, and when given a "copita" or two, a bit of Spanish as well. David lives with his partner in the Zürich area.
